As ReArch Company continues to grow and hire new employees, we are continually putting our current employees in different and more challenging positions to foster their development and success within our company. We are pleased to announce Philip Biondo will be transitioning into an Estimating position.
Prior to joining our team, Phil worked as a CAD Design Specialist, where he was responsible for designing commercial, industrial, and residential buildings from start to finish. Phil also oversaw the estimation of various projects, and the management of an onsite crew. Additionally, he has taken classes in Architecture Design at Boston Architectural College and Northeastern University.
We are also thrilled to announce that Ethan McDonald has been hired as a Project Engineer I, and Matt Franzosa has been hired as a Project Engineer II.
As Project Engineer I, Ethan is responsible for the coordination of project documents, and making sure information is clearly and efficiently communicated between ReArch Company and our subcontractors. He will also work closely with our Assistant Project Managers to close out each project by compiling operation and maintenance manuals.
Ethan McDonald’s work history is very conducive to the new Project Engineer I role, as he started developing his career as an Architectural Intern, focused on 2D and 3D modeling for the Landmark College Science, Technology & Innovation Center. He then went on to work for a leading general contractor as a Construction Intern II, where he focused on submittals, RFI’s and specification confirmations. Ethan has an Architecture degree from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and participated in the 2009 Governor’s Institute for Information Technology of Vermont. McDonald was also a member of the winning team for the 2005 Odyssey of the Mind.
As a Project Engineer II, Matt’s role is crucial to the success of our projects and requires professional communication, timely and quality maintenance, and review of project documents, as well as working closely with our Project Management team to assist with contract administration, submittals and continuing rapport.
Matt Franzosa’s impressive experience in the construction industry lends him a seamless transition into his new Project Engineer II role. Matt initially began his career working as an estimating intern and prior to joining ReArch, he worked as a Project Assistant, a Project Administrator, and then as an on-site Project Engineer at another general contractor. Before that, he worked as an Inspector in Vermont and Arkansas and then was promoted to a document control specialist in Dallas, Texas.
