Project Description:
Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) is Vermont’s only 24/7 emergency animal hospital. This project was an energy efficient construction project and built with industry leading medical equipment. The building is equipped with energy efficient building controls and utilizes solar panels that were installed on the roof to offset electricity. This 18,000+ sq ft hospital houses an expanded reception area, 12-exam/consultation rooms (specifically tailored to dogs or cats), an ICU, a bereavement room with a private exit to a meditation garden, and has a large conference suite for trainings & large meetings. Additionally, the hospital features an office support space, a dog & cat ward holding area, expansive general treatment space, 3-Operating rooms with their own surgical support space, ultra-sound room, cardio room, in-house lab & pharmacy, and a dental suite!
BEVS offers many specialty services at their facility such as; a rehab space with an aqua treadmill, acupuncture & low level laser therapy, X-Rays, CT Scans, MRI, and Radio-Iodine Therapy with a suite for cats including cameras for pet owners to watch their cat from home!
This new state of the art facility offers round-the-clock emergency and critical care services, advanced care in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and rehabilitation by board-certified veterinary specialists and credentialed experts.
