Project Description:
ReArch Company was selected as the Construction Manager on this NMTC (New Market Tax Credit) / CDBG (Community Development Block Grant)-funded manufacturing facility located in Brattleboro, Vermont. The multi-phased project features a 7,617 SF addition to the existing manufacturing facility located at 347 John Seitz Dr. The work included ledge removal which was in close proximity to the addition. Special care had to be taken while removing the ledge to not disrupt/vibrate G.S. Precision’s sensitive equipment.
Phase 2 broke ground shortly before Phase 1 was complete. This work included a 12,333 SF addition with an additional 14,432 SF of interior renovation. The new space included expanded offices, breakroom, storefront and new mechanical and electrical upgrades. Site improvements included new landscaping along with a new parking lot. Both Phases had to be carefully coordinated as the facility remained in operation during the entire project.
