ReArch Company is excited to announce the arrival of Chris Huston as Vice President of Development and Preconstruction. Chris provides overall leadership and direction on preconstruction project development and serves as the client’s direct contact point throughout the development and preconstruction process. He advocates for team collaboration, innovation, and consistency of high-quality services on every ReArch project. Chris leverages his experience to promote energy conservation and sustainable building practices and utilizes his team management skills to lead, cultivate, and mentor team members. During the estimating process, he verifies the project scope of work for accuracy and coordinates with the estimating department to ensure that owner requirements have been conveyed and priced appropriately.
Chris believes that the most successful projects result from deep, empathic listening to clients’ needs, a clear understanding of project requirements, and attention to detail.
Before joining ReArch Company, Chris attended Roger Williams University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. He has held a wide range of management positions throughout his career, beginning with over a decade at a Boston-based DiNisco Design, where he specialized in designing learning environments. Chris was also Architecture Operations Manager and Vice President of Architecture at Bread Loaf Corporation for over 14 years. His most recent experience was the Principal of his firm, Bellwether Architects. Chris has enjoyed creating award-winning buildings of significance throughout his career, focusing on client satisfaction, energy and sustainability, and building lasting relationships.
Chris currently resides in Vermont with his wife and three children. He is passionate about art, the outdoors, and enjoys all that Vermont has to offer.
