On June 22 ReArch Company began construction on the $20 million Williston Central School renovation project. The project team including Project Manager Mike Hollister, Site Superintendent Jim Hoag, Assistant PM Majken Poley, and Assistant Site Superintendent Cody Rowe are running 7 day a week operations to take advantage of summer vacation and keep this meticulously planned, 7 phase, schedule on track over the next 15 months.
This 145,000 sq. ft. project includes repairs and renovation to the buildings existing space including updating the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, windows, roof, as well as updating finishes including flooring and paint.
Extensive planning has gone into every aspect of this project to reduce the impact on students, faculty, and the budget. Construction areas, including contractor parking, is being tightly controlled to eliminate interaction between the students and workers.
