ReArch is pleased to announce the successful completion of a significant upgrade to Northwestern Medical Center’s Diagnostic Imaging (DI) department. This project involved installing a state-of-the-art CAT scan (CT) machine and renovating and expanding the DI department. The department is now fully operational and offers enhanced patient care.
The newly expanded CT suite houses the latest CT technology, providing the hospital with increased imaging capacity and enhanced diagnostic capabilities. In addition to the new equipment, the DI department has been further improved with the addition of two triage rooms and an expanded waiting room area. These upgrades offer increased patient privacy and comfort and a more efficient and streamlined flow through the department.
This expansion was driven by the growing demand for diagnostic imaging services, with NMC’s DI department performing 11,246 tests in fiscal year 2023 alone. By investing in advanced imaging technology and expanded facilities, NMC is better positioned to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the local community. The completion of this project follows the department’s successful MRI upgrade in 2023.
