The statistics on suicide among young individuals are indeed alarming. According to the CDC, suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 10-34 in the United States. Vermont’s suicide rate surpassing the national average highlights the urgent need for mental health awareness and preventive measures in the state and our communities.
ReArch Company (the Hardhat Paddlers) participated in a one-mile row/race from VT to NY at the Hope 4 Tomorrow Row. This event is put on by Project Hoeppner. Their mission is to raise awareness around teen suicide and encourage teens to seek help.
