Assistant Project Manager
Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, Nick is tasked with ensuring the consistent maintenance and communication of project documents. He plays a key role in supporting the project schedule by collaborating with the project manager to manage the flow of information between the design team and the field. Nick’s daily responsibilities include contract administration, submittal review, document control, and assisting the project manager with change management processes.
Experience
Nick graduated college in 2019 with a construction and business management degree. Before joining ReArch Company, Nick had an internship working in the field for a commercial contractor, in which he was a demolition crew member based at Norwich University. His hands-on experience at Norwich included removing walls, stripping tile, moving fencing, gathering materials and tools off-site, bringing doors, frames, and windows on-site, as well as assisting with installing windows. Additionally, he gained construction management experience on the Richard L. Beady building at Roger Williams University, which was a sample building students utilized for creating bids for subcontractors on specific parts of the building, estimating, working on take-offs, as well as creating a project’s scope of work and general conditions.
Education
Nick earned a B.S. in Construction Management from Roger Williams University, with a minor in business management.
Background
Nick is a native Vermonter who resides in St. Albans. He enjoys traveling, skiing, the outdoors, and being active. He is a “foodie” and loves exploring new experiences. Additionally, Nick is an avid sports fan.
