Project Engineer
Overview
As a Project Engineer I, Nick is responsible for ensuring project documents are maintained and communicated in a consistent manner. Nick works to maintain the project schedule by working with the project manager to control the flow of information from the design team to the field and back again. His day-to-day responsibilities include; contract administration, submittal review, document control, and assisting project managers with change management.
Experience
Nick recently graduated college in 2019, with a construction and business management degree. Prior to joining ReArch Company, Nick had an internship working in the field for a commercial contractor, in which he was a demolition crew member based at Norwich University. His hands on experience at Norwich included removing walls, stripping tile, moving fencing, gathering materials and tools off site, bringing doors, frames and windows on-site, as well as assisting with installing windows. Additionally, he gained construction management experience on the Richard L. Beady building at Roger Williams University, which was a sample building students utilized for creating bids for subcontractors on specific parts of the building, estimating, working on take-offs, as well as creating a projects scope of work and general conditions.
Education
Nick earned a B.S. in Construction Management from Roger Williams University, with a minor in business management.
Background
Nick is a native Vermonter and resides in St. Albans, Vermont. He enjoys traveling, skiing, the outdoors and being active. He is a “foodie” and loves exploring new experiences. Additionally, Nick is an avid sports fan.
