Estimating Coordinator
Overview
As the Estimating Coordinator, Jake assists in providing support to the estimating team. He is responsible for writing subcontracts and owner contracts, making sure all the necessary documentation is in place for current and future projects. He is responsible for proposal procurement, project bid documents and setup. Jake supports the estimators on any as-needed requests or tasks, including take-offs, buyouts, mark-ups, and coordination. He also spearheads networking efforts and maintaining subcontractor relationships and ensures information is clearly and efficiently communicated.
Experience
Jake comes to us with seven years of construction experience. Most recently Jake worked as a construction estimator/Jr. project manager for Sean Byrne Construction Inc. in Dickson City, PA. He has also worked as a building inspector for nearly 5 years for industrialized/modular buildings for PFS-TECO.
Education
Jake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science and Sustainable Design from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Background
In his spare time, Jake is an avid skier, hiker, golfer, fisher and loves to travel. His favorite hobby is exploring new places and meeting/conversing with new people. He is excited about his relocation to the Burlington area where he can enjoy outdoor adventure.
