Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Overview
As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, Scott is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the infrastruture for Community Health Centers of Burlington. Scott works directly with the health center’s team to establish and implement a routine maintenance plan. Scott takes a proactive and hands-on approach to his work, regularly inspecting the facilities to ensure peak performance.
Experience
Prior to joining ReArch Company, Scott ran his own business, providing property maintenance services for more than eight years. Before starting his own business, Scott was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor with Burton Snowboards for more than 14 years. During his time with Burton, Scott was responsible for all state reporting and set in place systems which won the company an Environmental Award from the State of Vermont. Scott has also worked as a factory-trained mechanic and has served as an Assistant Service Manager for prestigious brands including Mercedes and Ferrari.
Education
Scott studied Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. He has completed an OSHA training course, and is trained in the safe handling of hazardous materials and their DOT transportation. He has completed numerous courses in programmable logistics, electricity, and electronics and machine analysis.
Background
Scott is well traveled, having grown up in Greenwich Village, New York City, Kailua, and Dobbs Ferry. He served in the United States Navy, where he maintained gun and missile launcher systems and traveled throughout the world. Scott has raised four children. He and his wife now reside in Burlington, Vermont, where they partake in backcountry snowboarding, mountain biking, and spending time with their children.
