Superintendent
Overview
As a Superintendent, Shawn is responsible for ensuring goals of the client, project manager, vendors and subcontractors are met, while ensuring efficient focus on budget, communication, quality control, schedule and safety. His organization and leadership skills are unmatched, and clients often recognize his commitment to quality workmanship and building relationships.
Experience
Shawn previously owned and operated his own construction company for ten years, completing new construction and renovations of commercial and residential projects. Prior to that, he worked as a Project Superintendent for seven years in the area, specializing in commercial fit-ups and renovations.
Education
Shawn attended Vermont College for Liberal Arts, and is a graduate of Burlington High School. He holds his 30 Hour Construction OSHA certification.
Background
Shawn enjoys spending time with his two sons and three granddaughters. He’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys boating, fishing, four-wheeling, hunting and time at his camp. He can be found attending UVM basketball games and is a Yankees fan. Previously, Shawn volunteered with Fletcher Allen (UVM Health) in the surgical waiting area for seven years.
