The ReArch team had an absolute blast on this year’s boating day, which turned out to be a sunny 80-degree day with a wave forecast of one foot or less. For those non-boaters out there, that means a perfect calm boating day. Team Development Manager/Project Manager Beth Seniw helped organize the now annual event, gathered employees who own boats, and orchestrated filling them with those who wanted to join. We ended up with 20 people!
All the boat owners and passengers left their respective marinas and met at the docks in Plattsburgh, NY. Bert DeLaBruere, ReArch President got everyone slips at the docks, where the group was to meet for lunch at the Naked Turtle. However, upon arriving, the restaurant was not able to seat such a large group, so we walked ½ mile into town with kids in tow to meet at a restaurant that could accommodate us. There were lots of laughs and the food was great. Shortly after the walk back, the wave forecast changed to waves 3-5 feet! Pictured is the boat that led two boats back to Mallet’s Bay in Colchester plowing through 3 foot waves.
