Volunteers from the ReArch team gathered on Saturday, October 15th, at Shelburne Orchards to Pick Apples for our Neighbor. Our goal was to pick enough apples to fill up the bed of one of our ReArch trucks. Superintendent David Lothian volunteered his truck for the event, and we had it filled in about 30 minutes. We were able to pick and donate 720 pounds of apples. We worked with The Vermont Foodbank to find a location that would be in need of the apples, and they paired us with The Janet S. Munt Family Room in Burlington, VT. We concluded the day with apple cider doughnuts and apple cider for all those that picked.
