As VP of Construction, Ben will oversee the office and field operations of ReArch’s construction department to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on-time, within budget and built with the highest level of quality that both ReArch Company, and their clients expect.
Additionally, he will work in tandem with the executive team to define ReArch’s standard operating policies & procedures, seek out and implement new and innovative construction processes, improve communications, and support on-going employee development.
Ben’s previous experience as a senior project manager with ReArch Company, along with his prior experience at PCL Construction Services, Inc. gives him the necessary experience to move seamlessly into this position. He has worked on several large scale and technically challenging projects and has been highly efficient in his collaboration with field staff, co-workers, subcontractors, owners, and the design team. Ben’s well-rounded perspective and ability to communicate collaboratively with subcontractors, field staff, owners, and the design team are critical in this position.
ReArch also announces a second promotion, John Wells will move from his role as a job site Foreman, to an Assistant Superintendent. As Assistant Superintendent, John will manage the field aspects of ReArch’s construction projects including the overall site safety, day-to-day coordination of subcontractors and schedule management.
During his time at ReArch, John has assisted with the Burlington Emergency and Veterinary Specialists project and most recently managed an office fit up for University of Vermont Medical Center. He helped ensure both projects were completed within schedule for an on-time delivery. John’s experience and knowledge in commercial and residential construction, his calm demeanor, and strong communication skills made him well suited to take on this new role.
